I received this email from my high school teacher Mrs. Telly Dela Cruz. Just try this. It is from an orthopedic surgeon............ This will boggle your mind and you will keep trying over and over again to see if you can outsmart your foot, but you can't. It's preprogrammed in your brain!

1. While sitting where you are at your desk in front of your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.

2. Now, while doing this, draw the number '6' in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction!

I told you so!!! And there's nothing you can do about it! You and I both know how stupid it is, but before the day is done you are going to try it again, if you still cant do it, tell it to your buddies to frustrate them too. lol

what's your dream car?

One of the advantages of being a bum is that I have the whole day to daydream.., lol. And one of my favorite daydreaming subject is about driving my dream car. Oh yeah!!! It would really be amazing to own my dream car. For me it is the culmination of all my well deserved hard work (what hard work? I'm a bum!!!). It's all about achieving our goal and working towards accomplishing what we have endeavoured for.

In my daydreams, I never really visualized a top of the line car. I know you might say- its just daydreaming so why not go all out- right? Well i guess I just want to make my goals authentic. I mean, I want it to be something feasible. Something I know that is doable and attainable. My dream car is a Hyundai Matrix. I fell in love with it when a friend invited me to his office, who happens to work for Hyundai. At that time I really dont want to drive another car because I had a car accident. A stupid drunk guy just decided to sleep while he was driving and he hit my car from behind. Next thing I knew I was facing his suv. My tiny car (a very dependable kia pride) spun 180 degrees. That happened a day before my 27th birthday. But after seeing the attractive features of the Hyundai Matrix, I knew I've got to drive again.

So what's a bum gonna do to have fun? Watch American idol of course!!!I'm so excited about the season 7 of the American Idol!!! There are a lot of exciting faces and talents to look forward to. An open letter to the one I love

Valentines Day is just around the corner so I thought I should drop a line to you. I don’t know if you would read this but I feel that I should let this feeling out of me. I never thought I would be writing this.., but here goes.

First, I want to thank you for the unconditional love you have given me. Your love has made me the better person that I am now. You have always encouraged me to pursue everything that I’ve dreamed of and you never hesitated to give me a push when I feel down and a little kick in my a.. when I get crazy. It’s amazing how a simple touch, a soft tap on my shoulder and a warm hug from you could uplift my soul and assure me that everything’s going to be all right. Only you could do that to me, and there are no words to describe how I appreciate everything that you’ve done for me. And I want you to know that you are always in my heart.., eventhough you have left me.

Dont worry, I'm not mad. From the very start I knew this could happen. I just never expected it would end this soon. I would have to admit I went nuts. I thought we have made an unspoken vow that we will never run off from each other. I thought what we had is forever. But hey.., I just realized we never used the word forever when we converse. How I wish that what we had was forever..,

Six years has passed and I still haven't gone over it. Sometimes I feel I should just forget the past.., but I cant. How do I say goodbye when I know that you still love me. How can I utter goodbye to the one who has made me the person I am now. I'll never say goodbye.., what we had transcends time, what we had surpasses forever.., what we had is eternal.

Now Valentine's Day is near.., another day I have to spend without you. But I want you to know, now that you're in heaven, no one can ever take your place in my heart. No one else comes close.., no one else will ever replace you.

Happy Valentine's Day Nanay (mom)!!! I love you beyond words!!!

Oh yeah.., what a day!!! I still haven't awaken from the dream yet.., everything's surreal. I know, u might say it's a bit cheesy, but hey.., all of us look up to someone right? and Christine Gambito, aka happyslip, is my hero.

The event was made even more thrilling with Josh Verdes singing his songs that happyslip used in her videos, love at first sight, save me and, of course, home which he tailored especially for the Philippines. Everyone waited patiently to have their pictures taken with happyslip. It was like waiting in line for the MRT, but a lot better, because Christine is on the other end. Adding more fun to the event was a raffle of prizes courtesy of Yehey. (And I actually won.., hehehe). It was also a great opportunity for me to meet up with other bloggers, jonald and sonnie, whom I shared the table with and I got very interesting insights about blogging. Thanks guys!

Thanks Christine for inspiring me to blog! Now I'm off to my own adventure.., and yes, I'll always wear my happyslip. lol

almost missed this chance..,

I sent a letter to http://happyslip.yehey.com as soon as i learned
about the meet and greet in manila. they said that they are
going to mail a confirmation email within 2 days.
I waited patiently.., and patiently..,
til i ran out of tolerance and decided to email them again.
it's a good thing i did that because i just
received an email from them and they have confirmed that
my name is on the list!!!

i, unthinkingly, decided to empty out my bulk mail from my
inbox since they have been flooding my mail..,
( i really dont have time to check on each bulk mail and
unsubscribe from each of them.., but now i will!!!)

confirmation email which was dated january 30, 2008.

now it's official!!! i'm going to meet happyslip!!!
